Save Money & the Environment - Join ComEd's RRTP Electricity Program

The Evanston Environmental Association (EEA) and CNT Energy (a local non-profit) are partnering in an effort to enroll 200 Evanston residents in ComEd's new Residential Real-Time Pricing (RRTP) program by May 31.

This is a program that can SAVE YOU MONEY and HELP THE ENVIRONMENT.  ComEd customers on the RRTP program saved an average of $185 on their electricity bills last year.

Replace inefficient exit signs with LED signs

The City of Evanston is partnering with the Business Alliance for a Sustainable Evanston (BASE) to replace 1,250 old exit signs in our community with super energy-efficient, long-lasting LED signs, with potential to save businesses money and reduce our carbon emissions.   BASE estimates that there are more than 30,000 exit signs in the City.  The exit sign replacement program applies to any building with an exit sign – including non-profits, businesses (even if you rent or lease), condos, multi-family buildings, and churches.
