“READY, SET, RECYCLE!” - A Free Electronics Recycling event on Oct 2

READY, SET, RECYCLE!” a Free Electronics Recycling event, will be presented by the Evanston Environmental Association (EEA) and the City of Evanston on Saturday, October 2, from 9am – 12 noon. The event is part of the annual Evanston Green Living Festival put on by the EEA and Evanston the same day, October 2.

Have fun at the DUCK RACE AND PLUCK - this Saturday, Aug 14, from 3 - 5pm

This Saturday, Aug 14, from 3pm - 5pm, a DUCK RACE AND PLUCK will be held at the Dawes Park lagoon in Evanston.  This event is held to raise funds for the care of the "critters" that reside at the Evanston Ecology Center.  Rubber ducks race on waves created by volunteers with paddles.  Sponsor one duck for $10, or three (in a Quack Pack) for $25.  Kids and adults alike will have fun.  Attendees can win cool prizes.  For more information, or to reserve ducks, call 847 448-8256.

The Evanston Environmental Association (EEA) and CNT Energy (a local non-profit) are partnering in an effort to enroll 200 Evanston residents in ComEd's new Residential Real-Time Pricing (RRTP) program by May 31.
 
This is a program that can SAVE YOU MONEY and HELP THE ENVIRONMENT.  ComEd customers on the RRTP program saved an average of $185 on their electricity bills last year.
