Important votes for 6th Ward, Monday, June 8, 7PM

 

Several important 6th Ward issues have advanced from the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) to the Planning and Development Committee of the Council (P&D).

Two of the three advanced by unanimous vote, one received a 4-1 vote.
 
Of particular concern is the proposed Subway Restaurant (see below). Please plan to attend and comment.
 
The following applications will be discussed Monday, June 8, 7PM at the Civic Center (Council Chamber):
 
  • Subway restaurant at Central and Crawford, in the mini-mall with Starbuck's and an ATM
  • Teardown and rebuilding of Berglund Animal Hospital
  • Streetscape surrounding CVS as part of an overall updating of the store and parking lot
