Faulty Budget Process

For some time we have been hearing about how the City of Evanston cannot afford to do anything. Why is that?

ALERT: Sept. 10 Plan Commission Meeting Cancelled

While double-checking the time for tonight's Plan Commission meeting to finish discussing the Downtown Plan, I noticed that the City calendar now says it's "cancelled." A call to the City confirmed that there won't be a quorum. The meeting will be rescheduled.

The Zoning Committee of the Plan Commission will meet as scheduled at 6 pm to discuss the West Side Plan and a new ordinance to restrict sale of guns.
