These carved stone cartouches affixed to the exterior of 2800 Central (formerly a Blockbuster Video, a West Coast Video, and originally a restaurant) are believed to date from the early 20th Century or earlier, salvaged from a demolished building, and have earned it a mention by Landmarks Illinois as a noteworthy "preservation resource."
